Ukraine is a sovereign country with its own history, culture, traditions, and values. It was illegally invaded by russia* on February 24th, 2022, putting the world in danger. There is a long history of colonialism and aggression by russia* towards Ukraine that has had a deep impact on the Ukrainian people, causing intergenerational trauma, displacement, and destruction of Ukrainian heritage.

- This war puts the world at risk for a nuclear disaster if Europe’s largest nuclear plant in Ukraine is damaged
