PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A Ukrainian nonprofit in Portland marked four years since the full-scale invasion by Russia on Sunday in Pioneer Courthouse Square.
As dozens of people, draped in colors of the Ukrainian flag, braved the rain, they brought Ukrainian music and culture to downtown Portland.
The event was put on by DAWN, an organization that supports Ukrainians in Portland as well as their loved ones back home.
DAWN sends medical aid, resources, and mental health support to people who have been impacted by the war.
