PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A local therapist based out of Washington County is using her abilities in a high-risk humanitarian effort on Ukraine’s frontlines.

Yulia Brockdorf, who is also the founder of the Oregon-based non-profit DAWN Inc., is returning to the Eastern European nation to provide psychological support to soldiers actively serving in combat during the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Brockdorf joined us on AM Extra to tell us more about her therapy work both in Ukraine and Oregon.
