Unity and Celebration of Ukraine at the St John the Baptist UOC Portland

September 10, 2023

What a beautiful day of unity and celebration of Ukraine at the St John the Baptist UOC Portland, together with Nataliya Sereda, Valentina Aleksandrovna , and Maria Borisovska ! My sincere thanks to Nataliya Nahurska and Fr. Volodymyr Yavorskyi for inviting DAWN Inc to be part of this special event.
A true highlight of the day was witnessing the incredible talent of the children from DAWN’s 9-week Summer Camp took the stage, guided by the luminary in the world of folk music and ethnography Inna Kovtun. And guess what? You can join Inna for a special class to learn soul-reaching Ukrainian Cossack and Resistance songs. Don’t miss out on this opportunity: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/ukrainian-cossack…
Profound gratitude to the incredibly talented Darka Dusty for enchanting us with her captivating music. Not only is Darka an artist of extraordinary talent, but her unwavering commitment to the Ukrainian cause in Oregon is nothing short of inspirational. Darka serves as a powerful voice for Ukraine, tirelessly promoting awareness and support for our cherished homeland.
Thank you for sharing updates about DAWN’s upcoming event on December 2nd. Stay tuned for more updates!
