Thank you to the Rose Foundation for inviting us to celebrate Ukraine at the Portland Rose Festival, and to everyone who came to walk with us. We are grateful to every participant for their involvement, good spirit, and support of Ukraine.

Our gratitude goes to Drake Garcia Photography for his exceptional photography and video work, you have truly captured our spirit during this parade! We thank you for your fantastic and hard work. We thank Johnny DiLozenzo and Nathan Merril for rolling and carrying the back banner, and Daria Voloviova and Galina Voloshinov for carrying our front banners. We appreciate Johnny, Nathan, Rich Mcclure for helping with construction and repairs; Sonia Voloshinov, Galina Voloshinov, Kalyna Brockdorf, Inna Inna Derevyanko, and everyone else who helped with decorations; Alice Monical for sewing the banner sleeves; Natasha Zhytaryuk for sewing sleeves and stitching on the logos on the hand held banner, and creating enchanting headdresses for us to wear. Thank you, Rich for helping with every step of the process as the needs arose! Thank you Tatiana Terdal letting us borrow the power station, and Andrey Shulik for providing amplifiers and coordinating the music. Inna Kovtun, thank you for adoring our Portland community with Ukrainian song. Big appreciation to Nataliya Sereda for suggesting the idea of participating in the Rose Parade. Dominika Pukay, thank you for helping us shine brightly with 500 sunflowers. Special thanks to Valentina Aleksandrovna for keeping track of us all and organizing parade logistics. Yulia Brockdorf, thank you for putting it all together, volunteering your living room and garage for preparations and bringing all of our supplies bright and early. Thank you to our friends and partners at Oregon Chinese Coalition Portland-Lviv Friendship Association, Cayanan Counseling and Wellness, Nutrition For Success, Ukrainian Federal Credit Union, Realtor Dominika, and Ukrainian Care for your unwavering support and collaboration. Our gratitude goes out to each and every defender for protecting our land and our people! As we represented Ukraine on the streets of Portland, 21 pallets of critical medical aid was on its way to New Jersey to be shipped to Ukraine. Our friend and true patriot Alex Bezhan Alex at Fast Freight Forwarding Inc selflessly jumped in his truck and is delivering this aid as we write this. From standing ovations and loud cheering to heart felt looks of support and pride, the incredible support of the Portland community today once again convinces us that Ukraine will win!
